Our Story

The Mosaic School was founded by two mothers who shared a common vision: to create the school they wished had existed for their own children and for countless other families navigating the special education system.

Teacher helping a student

The Name Says It All

A mosaic is made up of many distinct pieces — each different in shape, color, and design. Individually, each piece has its own value and purpose. But when combined, they create something truly remarkable.

School community together

Mission

At The Mosaic School, our mission is to celebrate the unique strengths of every child, cultivate a community of belonging, and provide innovative, individualized support that empowers students with exceptional needs to thrive and contribute their own unique piece to the world.

Vision

We envision a world where every child with exceptional needs is seen for their abilities, supported in their growth, and empowered to thrive in a community built on trust, belonging, and opportunity.

“Because when a child believes in themselves, their future changes forever.”

What Makes Us Different

The Mosaic School is a Relationship-Led School, founded by two moms of children with special needs. We believe parents are the experts on their children, so your voice leads the way. Together, we combine your insight with our expertise and services to create a personalized development plan for every student.

Because every piece of the mosaic is different. Every piece matters.
